We are looking for exceptional talent to provide strategic HR solutions to executive business leaders as a Principal Human Resources Business Partner. The Principal, HRBP will work closely with assigned executive leaders and their divisions to develop and implement Human Resources (HR) solutions aligned to business and enterprise strategy.

What you will do:

  • Leverage advanced business knowledge, financial acumen, systems thinking, in-depth knowledge of the employee lifecycle, and client relationships to influence strategic planning and execution of business initiatives.

  • Effectively partner and collaborate with Employee Experience partners to ensure execution of Premera strategy, and Employee Experience initiatives.

  • Consult on, design and support implementation of strategic talent initiatives including human capital planning, organization design, succession & development, diversity, equity, & inclusion, executive coaching, and workforce transitions.

  • Balance the objectives of the executive leadership and overall needs of the company and employees; presenting data-driven recommendations to an executive audience.

  • Communicate effectively to influence without formal authority, mentor cohort teams, lead through action modeling desired behavior, and serve as culture stewards for the enterprise.

  • Strengthen leader capabilities by providing coaching and development to senior and executive leaders; provide insight and counsel regarding development efforts, employee relations, workforce management and communications strategy.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across the Premera enterprise; collaborate and build alignment cross-functionally to ensure continuity and consistency with initiatives, policies, and programs.

  • Partner and collaborate with colleagues across the enterprise to ensure strategic alignment on business achievements.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field or four (4) years’ relevant work experience. ( Required)

  • Twelve (12) years of progressive experience within HR and leadership including: Three (3) years in the capacity of a Sr. HR Business Partner or similar relevant progressive HR experience in a strategic advisory or consultative HR role, including previous experience working directly with executive level leaders. (Required)

  • Advanced degree and/or professional certification in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field. (Preferred)

  • Three (3) years’ experience as a direct or indirect leader/manager of people. (Preferred)

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.

National Salary Range:

$102,600.00 - $174,400.00

National Plus Salary Range:

$117,000.00 - $198,900.00

*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska .
