As a* Business Manager*in Employee Experience, which is comprised of Human Resources and Real Estate & Facilities, you will partner with the SVP of Employee Experience to manage the development and execution of strategic planning and initiatives for the department and Premera. You will have an opportunity to apply your business expertise, systems thinking, analytical capability, and program/project management skills to anticipate and plan for the long-term needs of the team and the organization. In this role you will engage and consult with all levels across Premera to deliver on business strategies, while guiding and mentoring others to ensure business efficiency and effectiveness.

*What you’ll do *

  • Consult with leaders to identify key business issues, outline strategic alternatives, and recommend effective enterprise-wide solutions
  • Manage department planning process and perform independent analyses for a broad array of complex issues
  • Identify action steps based on analytic results and make recommendations to management
  • Oversee execution of the departments strategic plan deliverables, including the development of goals, objectives and roadmaps
  • Lead the integration of departmental projects and programs, ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and outcomes by providing status updates, leading strategic and planning discussions, and providing project assessments
  • Work closely with leaders across the Employee Experience team to design, implement, and operate new programs and/or enhancements

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, healthcare administration, related field of study, or 4 years' work experience
  • 5 years of experience in developing, implementing, and supporting new or existing strategic programs and processes. Which includes:
  • 5 years of experience in program, project, and change management or a combination of the three
  • Demonstrated experience across multiple HR disciplines
  • Ability to demonstrate a breadth of knowledge across multiple lines of business in either Human Resources, Real Estate, Property Management and Development, or related fields
  • Strong customer experience and relationship skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Systems thinking in program/project management and process improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and fix organizational program capabilities and potential points of vulnerability
