As a Data & Analytic Content Specialist for our Corporate Data & Analytics team, you will provide on-going support in the collection, analysis and presentation of industry-at-large information regarding the both the data and analytic and healthcare industries. Your work will serve as data point considerations that help drive the business forward. You will gather, analyze and format information, create communications, and develop a repository of industry subjects for business decision discussion and professional presentations.

To realize the level of customer empowerment envisioned, the team is building state-of-the-art data services frameworks that enable real-time interoperability within Premera as well as with external healthcare partners and provider organizations.

The team you would join is a diverse group of people with expertise that is both broad and deep across the technical and healthcare landscapes. This team applies the methods and general approach established by Disciplined Agile Delivery, its motto is “Delivery is our Currency”.

What you’ll do

  • Research and organize required/requested information for projects and for communication purposes

  • Analyze assembled information to identify trends, define problems and highlight development areas

  • Create, update, verify, and continually enhance assigned libraries of information

  • Articulate and translate future state analytic capabilities

  • Monitor and identify trends/technologies regarding how businesses are using analytics now and synthesize varying concepts to make recommendations for future integration

  • Deep dive in to relevant data and analytics topics – (AI, machine learning, enterprise data warehouse) and translate that in to materials that can be utilized in presentations or to further explain subjects

  • Respond to any inquiries about information collected

  • Produce related communications to both internal and external audiences

  • Assist in the creation of analyses and models in order to quantitatively define collected information

  • Track progress of relevant subject matter for organizational prioritization

  • Create reports and presentations as needed

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or four (4) years' work experience

  • Three (3) years’ work experience, including one (1) year of experience in a role understanding statistical modeling or analyzing industry trends

  • Ideal candidates will have experience in a healthcare, financial or payer industry

  • One (1) year experience with a variety of internal and external communication types

  • Knowledge/Experience with a reporting or query programming language, relational databases, and /or related software packages is a plus

  • Solid analytic and research skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and PowerPoint

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Proven ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in various stages of completion

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet timelines

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong motivation to learn, willingness to be a team player yet operate independently as required
