As a Senior Digital Product Manager, you will own the customer experience for one or more products and/or features across desktop, mobile web and mobile app surfaces. You will develop new products and services by leading in a matrixed setting that includes senior-level stakeholders in sales, engineering, operations, 3rd party vendors and customers. Your products and services will be both Business-to-Business and Business-to-Customer, so you will need to be versatile enough to move back and forth as business and organizational needs require.
You will use data to support your recommendations and help drive technical and business trade-offs. Above all, you will strive to make healthcare work better for our members in Oregon, Washington and Alaska.
To be successful, you’ll need to:
Understand and empathize with customers, identifying and providing innovative solutions to their unmet needs
Be a fast learner, so as to become a subject matter expert for your product, including its user interface, back end, performance metrics, legacy systems and economics
Be comfortable creating clarity and making decisions even in nebulous situations
Collaborate and lead cross functional teams, including customer researchers, user experience designers, engineers, content editors, scrum masters and director-level business leaders
Develop and win support for customer value propositions for the products and services you manage
Define success metrics and use data to drive decision making
Develop compelling business cases for digital investments
Own and socialize your product roadmap
Own the drafting of user stories and manage a product backlog in an Agile development setting
Oversee the development of new features and services from inception to launch
Manage go-to-market strategies
What you’ll bring:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Five years’ experience -- with at least three in a product management capacity -- for digital experiences or software platforms
A deep desire to improve peoples’ lives and experience with their healthcare services
A desire to be part of a dynamic industry and grow with an evolving organization
The ability to understand and champion the role of digital within an overall customer experience
Creative and analytical problem solving skills and a goal to constantly improve at your craft
A relentless curiosity about how things work in a complex and dynamic environment
A desire to work as part of a collaborative cross functional team and will foster a ‘one team’ mentality with all your partners
